Terms of use
Last updated November 2, 2026
These terms describe how you may use DailyNotes, a free personal notes app. There is no paid plan and no subscription.
The service
DailyNotes lets you keep private lists, notes, and versions on your account. We may change features, fix bugs, or take the service down for maintenance. Saves can fail if a workspace is too large.
Your account
You need an email address you control to sign up and sign in. You are responsible for the notes you store and for keeping your password private. You can delete your account from the account menu. Deleting your account removes your login and the notes stored for that user.
Using DailyNotes
Signed-in accounts can store notes without a plan or a note cap. Notes you write before you sign in stay in that browser tab. Creating an account or signing in starts a separate saved workspace, and those unsaved notes are cleared.
Acceptable use
Use DailyNotes for your own notes. Do not try to access someone else’s account, overload the service, or use it to break the law.
